Yoga Nidra
Receive the medicine of rest.
Yoga Nidra is often translated as the yoga of sleep. Held on the new and full moons, this guided rest meditation offers an opportunity to lie down and receive the medicine of non-doing, non-striving and rest. In this practice, we learn to receive restoration rather than effort our way into being and doing better. Conscious breathing practice, guided visualization, body awareness and scanning as well as long stretches of silence shift the body into a deeply relaxed, near-sleep state. In this state of bliss, the deep self is restored, tended to, nourished, uplifted, and refreshed. It is physiologically and psychologically profound.
No experience necessary! All beings welcome!

Practicing yoga is an experience that requires trust and rapport between teacher and student, and Sara has an innate ability to cultivate both.
—S.K., Small Business Consultant
There is a healing frequency to Sara and her teaching that allows me to let go of all the anxiety and weariness that I didn't even know I was holding until I let it go.
—R.W., Psychotherapist
Sara’s yoga classes can be as gentle or intense as you choose to make them. The pace is deliberate, and there’s room to stretch your body and your mind, to breathe and to learn about your breath.
